Our selection process is designed to maintain the Academy’s high training standards while identifying candidates with the potential to succeed in professional aviation.
Through a series of technical and psychometric assessments, both applicants and the Academy can objectively evaluate the knowledge, aptitude, and personal qualities required to pursue a successful career in aviation.
The selection process is required for admission to the following professional pilot training programmes:
CPL (A) Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane)
CPL (H) Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter)

The admission test costs €200.
The full amount will be credited towards your tuition fees if you enrol in any Professional Aviation training programme.
How does the admission test work?
Register and receive all the information you need to access the admission test. The admission test fee is €200 and will be fully credited towards your tuition fees if you enrol in one of our training programmes.
Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive all the information needed to pay the admission test fee.
Once your payment has been confirmed, our team will email you detailed instructions on how to complete the online assessment and access your personalised assessment report.
The assessment takes approximately 4 hours to complete and is designed to evaluate the core skills required to begin professional pilot training.
The assessment includes:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- English language
- Cognitive and logical reasoning skills Personality profile (APQ – ADAPT Personality Questionnaire)
No previous aviation knowledge is required.
Once you have completed the assessment and taken part in a feedback session with our team, you will receive a detailed report of your results.

To begin professional ATPL training, you must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent qualification)
- Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
- Successful completion of the admission test
For the PPL (Private Pilot Licence), a Class 2 Medical Certificate is sufficient. No previous flying experience is required.
It is the mandatory medical certification required under EASA regulations to confirm a pilot’s medical fitness.
The certificate is issued by an AME (Aero Medical Examiner) and is divided into:
- Classe 1 → for professional pilots
- Classe 2 → for private pilots
Yes. In most cases, wearing glasses is compatible with obtaining an Aviation Medical Certificate, provided your vision meets the limits set by EASA regulations.
- Yes. The admission test is required for the professional ATPL training programme.
- It is not required for the PPL (Private Pilot Licence).
