Our financing solutions
PER MERITO – Intesa Sanpaolo
For several years, Professional Aviation Academy has partnered with Intesa Sanpaolo to offer the Per Merito student financing programme, allowing eligible students to fund their training as an Airline Pilot or Commercial Helicopter Pilot.
This financing solution is designed to support your investment in professional flight training, subject to the terms and conditions established by both the bank and the Academy.
Key features of the financing:
- Maximum loan amount: up to €50,000
- Loan term: up to 10 years
- Disbursement: funds are released in instalments, subject to the Academy’s approval
- Repayment: begins after a 24- or 30-month grace period
- Guarantee: no guarantor is required
Eligibility Requirements
- Successful completion of Professional Aviation Academy’s internal selection process and placement within the available intake.
- Advance payment of the non-financed portion of the course fees.
- Compliance with the contractual terms and conditions of Professional Aviation Academy and Intesa Sanpaolo.
- Obtaining a Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
BNL FUTURIAMO – BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas
The BNL Futuriamo financing solution allows students to fund their training as a Professional Airplane Pilot, Professional Helicopter Pilot, or Flight Instructor, subject to the terms and conditions established by BNL BNP Paribas Group.
Designed to support your investment in professional flight training, the programme is available to eligible applicants in accordance with the bank’s lending criteria.
Key features of the financing:
- Maximum loan amount: up to €70,000
- Loan term: up to 10 years
- Disbursement: paid in a single instalment
- Repayment: capital repayment can be deferred for 12 to 36 months
- Guarantee: a co-applicant (parent/legal guardian) resident in Italy, or another form of guarantee accepted by the bank
Eligibility Requirements
- Proof of enrolment in an ATPL, CPL, or Flight Instructor training programme, or a signed training agreement.
- Proof of payment of the initial course enrolment fee (eligible for financing).
Frequently asked questions
Repayment follows the agreed financing plan and may include an initial grace period.
Financing is available for the ATPL Airplane and ATPL Helicopter training programmes, whether you’re starting your training from scratch or already hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
It is not available for the PPL course as a standalone programme or for individual courses outside the ATPL training pathway.
Your financing application is typically assessed within 7 days following the admission test and the evaluation carried out by our admissions team.
